🔹 Coating System

Manufacturing Process

The pipes are produced using Electric Arc Furnace (EAF) steelmaking technology, ensuring high recycled content and controlled metallurgy.

Core Production Stages:

  • Scrap-based steel melting (EAF technology)

  • Continuous casting

  • Mandrel rolling process

  • Expander mill for large diameters

  • Heat treatment (Normalizing / Quenching & Tempering)

  • Sizing and finishing

  • Non-destructive testing (UT, Eddy current, magnetic particle, flux leakage)

All processes are controlled through integrated monitoring systems to ensure chemical composition accuracy and dimensional precision.

Material Composition & Sustainability

Material Mass Share:

  • 93% Post-consumer recycled iron scrap

  • 5% Iron from other sources

  • 1% Alloy elements

  • 0.8% Other elements

The minimum recycled content is 93%, in accordance with UNI EN ISO 14021.
